Albany Heritage Day Kicks Off Today

ALBANY -- The annual Albany Heritage Day kicks off its two day celebration today.

Events this weekend include the 5k walk and run set to start at 8:00 a.m. followed by the local business water ball fight at 11:00 a.m.

Food vendors and a beer garden open at Noon along with children's games.

The sock hop theme Grand Parade hits the streets at 7:00 p.m. with a fireworks display beginning at dusk.

Saturday's events include a chicken and ham dinner, quilt auction and a raffle drawing.
