UNDATED -- A non-profit organization says we'll actually have a teacher shortage in the upper Midwest within 10 years.  That's why the Bush Foundation says they've announced an advertising campaign to attract young people into the profession.

President Peter Hutchinson says the teaching profession has to compete for talented professionals now more than ever.

Hutchinson says, because of retirements and turnover, 25,000 new teachers will need to be brought into the profession over the next 10-years.

The Bush Foundation is partnering with 14 Universities -- including St. Cloud State University -- to improve the way teachers are recruited, trained and supported.
