ST. CLOUD - Thousands of students will be returning to local colleges in Central Minnesota this week.

Roughly 20,000 to 25,000 students are expected to return to the area this fall.

The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University will both be having their move-in-days on Thursday. Students will check-in between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. New students will then have orientation and activities to get comfortable on campus before classes start on Monday.

St. Cloud State University will have its residence hall move-in on Saturday. New students will be moving in between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be orientation tours and activites scheduled for students during the weekend.

Returning SCSU students will move-in on Sunday.

Summertime by George on Wednesday, August 27th will also be "Welcome back students night" featuring music from the Fabulous Armadillos.

The St. Cloud Technical and Community College will also be starting its fall semester classes on Monday.
