A 10-year-old boy is in critical condition after a farm accident near Freeport. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says the incident happened at about 5:20 p.m. yesterday (Monday) in Millwood Township, just north of Freeport.

A shed on a farmplace near Paynesville was on fire last (Tuesday) night. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says a deputy noticed the fire at about 11:00 p.m. while on patrol. The shed fire was along Highway 55, about four miles west of Paynesville.

Two people were hurt in a crash in Holding Township. Nineteen-year-old Lance Roering of Albany collided with 19-year-old Ross Bialka of Holdingford.

A home in western Stearns County has been destroyed by fire. The Sheriff says the fire was reported at about 3:45 p.m. yesterday (Thursday) in Crow River Township, southeast of Belgrade.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department is looking for the owner of some stolen property that has been recovered. The property was found on Athman Road in Rockville on Sunday.

A 50-year-old St. Joseph man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing another man. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says the incident happened at about 9:30 p.m. last (Thursday) night in St. Joseph Township.

There was a vehicle fire near St. Stephen on Saturday night. The fire started in the engine compartment of a 1998 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

Four people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says the incident happened just after 7:30 a.m. this (Friday) morning on County Road 65 in Melrose Township.

Stearns County authorities say a milk truck tried to stop on an icy road but ended up colliding with a stopped school bus.Seven children were on the bus, but no one in either vehicle was hurt in the Wednesday morning crash.

Two deputies on snowmobiles arrested a St. Cloud man for allegedly driving drunk. The Stearns County deputies were patrolling the Rockville area on their sleds on Saturday night at about 6:00 p.m. when they spotted a 1998 Toyota Tacoma allegedly driving erratically.
