SCSU Basketball Swept At Concordia-St. Paul

The St. Cloud State men's basketball team lost 78-66 at Concordia-St. Paul in their final regular season game Saturday night. Taylor Witt led SCSU with 13 points and Brett Putz added 12 points. The Huskies are 13-13 on the season and finish 6th in the NSIC. SCSU will play at 3rd seeded Augustana Wednesday night in the NSIC quarterfinals.

SCSU Basketball Swept By Mary

The St. Cloud State men's and women's basketball teams lost at home to the University of Mary Saturday night at Halenbeck Hall. The men lost 78-73 after the women were defeated 79-53. Taylor Witt led the men with 23 points and Brett Putz added 20 for the Huskies. Jordi Gerking led the SCSU women with 13 points.

SCSU Men Beat Northern State, Women Don’t

The St. Cloud State men's basketball team defeated Northern State 76-66 Friday night to clinch an NSIC tournament berth. Andrew Bernstetter led the Huskies with 22 points and 16 rebounds and Brett Putz added 15 points for SCSU. St. Cloud State improves to 13-11 overall and 12-8 in the NSIC.

SCSU Basketball Teams Split At Southwest MN State

The St. Cloud State men's basketball lost for a 2nd consecutive night while the SCSU women won their 2nd straight at Southwest Minnesota State in Marshall Saturday night. The SCSU men got beat 71-58. Shaun Jensen led the Huskies with 17 points and Taylor Witt was held to 5 points in 26 minutes.

SCSU Women Win, Men Lose at MSU-Mankato

The St. Cloud State women's basketball team got a couple of free throws with .2 seconds left from Jordi Gerking and the Huskies beat MSU-Mankato 71-70 in Mankato Friday night. SCSU was led by Talisha Barlow with 19 points. SCSU improves to 11-11 overall. The St. Cloud State men's basketball team didn't fare as well as they lost 80-69 at #9 MSU-Mankato Friday Night.

SCSU Basketball Sweeps Upper Iowa

The St. Cloud State men's and women's basketball team both won at Upper Iowa Saturday night. The SCSU women won 78-49 before the St. Cloud State men won 79-67. Taylor Witt led the Husky men with 30 points and Scott Hawkins added 17. The St. Cloud State men's team improves to 12-9 overall and 11-6 in the NSIC.

The St. Cloud State men's basketball team lost 88-67 at Winona State Friday night. SCSU trailed 38-27 at halftime and couldn't catch up in the 2nd half. Taylor Witt led the Huskies with 21 points and Scott Hawkins added 11 points for SCSU. The St. Cloud State women's basketball team lost 79-63 at Winona State Friday night.

The St. Cloud State men's and women's basketball teams both lost to Augustana Saturday night at Halenbeck Hall. The SCSU men lost on a last second shot 89-87 and the SCSU got beat 81-74. Taylor Witt led the Huskies with 32 points. The SCSU men's basketball 5-game win streak was snapped with the loss.

The St. Cloud State basketball split a pair of NSIC games at Minnesota-Crookston Friday night. The SCSU men beat the Golden Eagles 62-50 after the SCSU women lost 84-59. Taylor Witt led the St. Cloud State men with 26 points. SCSU improves to 9-7 overall and 8-4 in the NSIC.
