SCSU Men’s Basketball Upsets Augustana

The St. Cloud State men’s basketball team upset Augustana 79-73 Wednesday night in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in the quarterfinals of the NSIC tournament.  SCSU was led by Taylor Witt with 39 points and Josh Ortmann added 13 points.  The Huskies improve to 14-13 this season and will play 2nd seeded University of Mary at Concordia-St. Paul at 7:30pm Saturday in the NSIC tournament semifinals.  The finals will take place Sunday at Concordia-St. Paul.  Winona State and Minnesota State-Mankato will play at 2:30 Saturday in the other NSIC tournament semifinals.
