SCSU Men’s Basketball Win; Women Lose

The St. Cloud State men's basketball team defeated Wayne State 64-47 after the SCSU women's basketball team suffered a tough 59-50 loss to #8 Wayne State at Halenbeck Hall Tuesday night.  The SCSU shot 40 percent from the field while holding Wayne State to 29 percent.  Tim Bergstrasser led the Huskies with 17 points and 8 rebounds and Connor Niehaus added 11 points for the Huskies.

The SCSU women were led by Sam Price with 16 points.  St. Cloud State shot 30 percent while Wayne State shot 43 percent from the field.

The SCSU men are 10-1 overall and 6-1 in the NSIC while the SCSU women are 5-6 overall and 2-5 in the NSIC.  The St. Cloud State basketball teams play at Upper Iowa Saturday afternoon.
