The State Legislature has passed a $500 million bonding bill, with no money allocated for the St. Cloud prison. The Department of Corrections spokesman John Schadl says they had requested $30 million for upgrades to the prisoner intake system.

St. Cloud Correctional Facility Appoints New Warden

The St. Cloud Correctional Facility has a new warden. Eddie Miles will replace Patt Adair, who is retiring from the position she's held since 1995. Miles has worked with the State of Minnesota since 1992 in a number of roles, including as an investigator with the Office of Special Investigations and leadership roles at the Correctional Facilities in Stillwater and Lino Lakes.
