Benton County officials are investigating the discovery of a dead body just east of St. Cloud. A Sheriff's Department News Release says at 2:25 yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon, the Benton County Sheriff's Department received a report of a body found along County Road 75.

A truck driver hit by a train yesterday (Tuesday) is in critical condition at St. Cloud Hospital. The Benton County Sheriff says the incident happened at 4:15 p.m. at a railroad crossing at 35th Avenue Northwest near Rice.
