ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud YMCA is one-million-dollars closer to its goal of building a new 93,000-square-foot Aquatic Center.

The YMCA announced today (Friday) they received a one-million-dollar legacy gift from Anderson Trucking.

With the donation, the YMCA has now raised about $18.5 million of the $27 million needed for the new facility.

The legacy gift follows two other donations.

Scheels donated $1.5 million and the Morgan Family Foundation added another $1 million donation.

The new St. Cloud Area YMCA will help meet the growing demand for it's wellness programs and expand its purpose as an aquatics community center.

The Y hopes to break ground in the Spring of 2015.
