St. Cloud Area Unemployment Dips To 6.3%

ST. CLOUD  - The number of people out of work in the St. Cloud metro area went down last month.

The Department of Employment and Economic Development says our unemployment rate is now at 6.3% -- down from 6.7% in April.  It's also our lowest unemployment rate for May since 2008.

Locally, we're doing better than the state as a whole, which has an unemployment rate of 6.6%.  The nation's unemployment rate is 9.1%.
