SARTELL -- CentraCare Health gave senior residents a glimpse of what Chateau Waters in Sartell has to offer this (Wednesday) afternoon.

Chateau Waters unveiled their new showroom, located next to the House of Pizza, showcasing what the new resort style senior apartment building will look like.

Robin Theis is the Administrator of housing and community services at St. Benedict's. She says they felt it was important to show tenants their vision for the facility.

"It was designed to be resort like, to have everything in one location, to have a lot of activities for residents, and to build a real engaged community at Chateau Waters," says Theis.

The 100-unit senior apartment building will provide seniors, ages 62 and older, with a number of indoor and outdoor amenities such as pickleball courts, pool, restaurants, movie theater and community rooms.

The apartments will have an open concept so each resident has enough space to entertain family and friends.

"We really wanted open floor models so families could come in and spend time in their own home space, open kitchen area with stools, open living area," says Theis.

The facility is much like St. Benedict's Senior Community in St. Cloud, and Theis says they will continue to provide quality and exceptional senior services.

"This will be there home and they can choose to arrange home care which is available everyday, or they can choose to have no services," says Theis.

Chateau Waters, located just off of Pincecone Road and Sentinel Court, broke ground on the site in October. Theis says they are on schedule to be opened by July 2016.
