LESAUK TOWNSHIP - A man was tazed as he allegedly tried to run from authorities today (Tuesday) in LeSauk Township.

The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force conducted a search warrant at 32502 County Road 1 based on information that there was a man hiding at the home who had an outstanding warrant for 2nd degree assault. He also possibly had a loaded handgun. Authorities also believed methamphetamine was being sold from the home.

The suspect, 36-year-old Lazaro Diaz, ran out the back door and after a brief foot chase he was tazed and taken into custody.

Several other people were also in the home, including 46-year-old Ted Thomas of Sartell. He's facing charges of harboring a fugitive.

And a woman had an outstanding warrant in Kandiyohi County, 27-year-old Yolanda-Maria Radzhabov of Sartell.

Authorities found one ounce of suspected meth, two long guns, and a handgun.

During the search warrant, County Road 1 was closed at the Heims Mill Bridge.
