Pioneer Place Announces 3rd Annual Outdoor Music Festival Line-Up
ST. CLOUD - The 3rd Annual Outdoor Music Festival, Takin' It' To The Streets '15, will be held on August 1st, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The show will be taking along 5th Avenue in downtown St. Cloud. There are four bands taking part in this year's concert.
First up is The Ides of March featuring Jim Peterik from Survivor. Songs include Top 40 hits such as Eye of the Tiger, Hold On Lossely, L.A. Goodbye, You Wouldn't Listen, Fantasy Girl, and Rockin Into the Night. Pioneer Place co-founder Dan Barth says, "This is truly a very special show as it not only features the 8-piece horn band that is The Ides of March, it covers the amazing career of Jim Peterik who wrote mega hits for Survivor, .38 Speical, and Sammy Hagar. So we are going to be treated to hits galore by a truly legendary band."
The Fabulous Armadillos are hitting the streets for the festival as well. This is their tenth year performing at the Pioneer Place. Many of their former special guests will be joining them on stage. Band member George Armstrong says "We are thrilled to be back at Takin' It To The Streets performing alongside these true rock legends. We are going to fill the stage with many of our friends and special guest to give downtown St. Cloud a truly memorable concert as we enter our 10th season at Pioneer Place."
Another performance stars Minneapolis legend Mick Sterling along with Justin Ploof, Jason Ploof, David Eiland, Andy Ferkinoff, and Jeff Lee. Born To Run: The Music of Bruce Springsteen was one of the largest shows at Pioneer Place this year. Barth says "This show is nothing short of amazing, and we only had the opportunity to run it only three nights at Pioneer Place, so this is our opportunity to share this fantastic show with the whole community. It's the perfect show to get this party started."
The fourth performance is a bit of a surprise. It features a special surprise rooftop band performing throughout the night.

Doors will open on August 1st at 5:00 p.m. will music beginning at 6:00 p.m. The shows will be taking place in front of Pioneer Place, as well as the House of Pizza Parking Lot.
Food Vendors include Nick's Third Floor, Greek Cravings, House of Pizza, and Pacific Wok with Third Street Brewhouse, D.B. Searle's, and Bernick's providing beverages for a wine bar, Mojito station, and expanded general admission area.
