Franken Critical of VP Nominee Ryan on Medicare [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD – During a visit to St. Cloud today (Wednesday), Democratic U.S. Senator Al Franken addressed Mitt Romney’s choice for his running mate.
Franken says he disagrees with Congressman Paul Ryan on the issue of Medicare.

The Wisconsin congressman is calling for states to take over the Medicaid program. At the same time, Ryan’s budget would reduce projected federal spending on Medicaid by about $800 billion over 10 years, shrinking the program as a share of the overall national economy.
Franken made a stop today at St. Benedict’s Senior Community.
