“Empty Bowls” Offers Soup, Artwork In Support Of Ending Hunger

This weekend, you can support area nonprofits, enjoy soup prepared by area restaurants, and leave with a handcrafted bowl.

The "Empty Bowls" fundraiser is happening this Sunday from noon to 6:00 p.m. at Calvary Community Church in St. Cloud.

Conni Orth is the Coordinator for the St. Cloud Area Crisis Nursery. She says they're not just serving soup.

Orth says they're expecting around 1,000 handmade bowls to line the shelves at the event.

Tickets are $10 each, and all proceeds will benefit Lutheran Social Services, the St. Cloud area Crisis Nursery and Place of Hope Ministries.
