The National Weather Service says a low pressure system will move out of the rockies and into the plains over the weekend. The exact path of the storm is unknown, but it has the potential to produce a few inches of snow across central Minnesota on Sunday night into Monday morning.

Police used two search warrants to arrest two men on drug charges. The first search warrant was served at a home in Sauk Rapids and the second was served in St. Cloud. Police arrested both 35-year-old Jermaine Rice and 19-year-old Ryan Rinaldo. Both on suspicion of first degree sale of cocaine.

Two Minnesota lawmakers say they will offer a bill for a new Vikings stadium next week. A bill summary says it would create a new stadium authority to pick a Twin Cities site and own and run the new stadium. A state share of $30 million in the first year would come from multiple places such as tax on memorabilia and stadium naming rights.

DFL members of the State House of Representatives will be at SCSU's Atwood Memorial Center Sunday afternoon from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. Larry Hosch of St. Joseph and John Ward of Brainerd will be giving their view of the budget balancing proposals that are making their way through the House and Senate.

Area kids are invited to help plant, and tend a garden at the Stearns History Museum this summer. The project will happen Thursday mornings, May through August. The age range is 7-11 years old and the cost is $50 per child.
