This week in our Home Town Spotlight series we drive out to St. Wendel. Once known as The Maples, the community of St. Wendel was built by settlers from the shores of Ireland.

The Stearns County Highway Department will hold an open house meeting tomorrow to gather input on County Road 4 improvement plans. The county plans to rebuild the road between County Roads 2 and 3 in either 2013 or 2014.
