The St. Cloud Tech doubles team of sisters Taylor Tarrolly and Katelyn Tarrolly came up short in the Class "AA" state tennis finals taking home second place.

The St. Cloud Tech girls tennis team won some hardware today (Wednesday) at the Class "AA" state tournament. The team beat Rochester Mayo 5-2 to win the Consolation Championship. In the Class "A" consolation championship match, Virginia beat Foley 5-2.

The State High School girls tennis tournament started today (Tuesday). In the Class "AA" team, St. Cloud Tech beat Delano 6-1in the consolation semi-finals. In the Class "A" team, Foley beat Minnewaska Area 4-3 in the consolation semi-finals.

This week in our "Behind the Scenes" series on WJON, we go behind the walls of St. Cloud Technical High School and see the issues District 742 says the school faces. While the nearly 100-year-old building may stand tall from the outside, inside it's a different story.

A big match up this (Tuesday) evening in boys high school soccer. Section 8-24 Finals between the #1 seed St. Cloud Tech Tigers and the #2 seed Rogers Royals. Tech is in the section finals for the second straight year.

St. Cloud Tech is looking for a new head girls basketball coach after Sascha Hansen informed Tech Activities Director Andrea Swanberg she was taking a coaching job at Sartell-St. Stephen middle school.

The game was tied 6-6 going into halftime. Nick Warne had a 45 yard touchdown run to make it 13-6 in favor of ROCORI.

On March 25th, over 100 students, mostly Somali, walked out and protested outside of Tech High School. Over three months later, the protest is still sparking conversations between students, teachers and district officials on how to improve conditions in St. Cloud area schools.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is hosting on open forum on Monday regarding the recent protests at Tech High School in St. Cloud. On February 19th, a group of mostly Somali students at Tech High School walked out of class to protest alleged discrimination at the school.

A St. Cloud teenager was arrested after he allegedly threatened an school security officer. The incident happened at about 2:00 p.m. yesterday (Wednesday) inside St. Cloud Tech High School.
