Today marks a historical moment for The College of St. Benedict. The incoming women will be the first freshmen class of the school's second century.

St. Ben’s won their ninth straight basketball game with an 88-55 blowout over Augsburg at Claire Lynch Hall. Sixteen Blazers scored in the game, with Whitney Canton leading the way with ten points. St. Ben’s is now 17-4 overall and 15-3 in MIAC play...

St. Ben’s basketball continued their winning streak on Tuesday with a 75-63 win at Carleton in Northfield. Whitney Carlton led the Blazers with 17 points, six rebounds and four assists.

The St. Ben's volleyball team earned an at-large berth into the NCAA Division III tournament when the pairings were announced today. The Blazers will open play in the 64-team field against Domincan (Illinois) at 12:30 Thursday at St. Thomas in St. Paul. The Blazers will play the first match up the day.

A group that launched the careers of some of the most famous comedians in entertainment is coming to central Minnesota.

"The 7-Shot Symphony," staged by the theater group Live Action Set, is a combination of theater, comedy and music, but done without one thing - a set or props.

St. Ben's Activities Director Carol Howe-Veenstra is this year's recipient of the Nell Jackson Administrator of the Year Award. The award is presented by the NACWAA. Howe-Veenstra has spent the last 27 years at St. Ben's and 25 years as the Activities Director. She was also the head volleyball coach at St. Ben's from 1985-1999.
