A Northern Minnesota man was on his way home from work this week when he spotted something extremely rare to see, a Canadian Lynx on the roadside

This would be such a cool way to relax.

The Northern Rail Traincar Inn is located off Highway 3 in Two Harbors and offers its guests the chance and opportunity to spend their stay inside one of 15 boxcars on site.

I started thinking about some genuine signs of spring in the #BoldNorth and I found one, a few weeks earlier than most would expect. The sign is an actual sign, and for those in the know, it REALLY is a sign that 'spring is coming'!

Gunflint Pines Resort and Campground posted the video of the mink out for a 'run' back on December 10th. It's kind of cute to watch!

The shop worked over the weekend to get the display looking just right. They were even able to find a pair of glasses that look just like Ralphies!

The size of the creature was as she describes HUGE, "bigger than any forest creature" the woman had ever seen before.

On top of the domes at Klarhet, there are other things that you will see and find there including goats, cats, and other animals like chickens to go along with a breathtaking experience.

Central Minnesota lakes have already seen ice out this spring but northern Minnesota lakes still largely have it. Glen Schmitt from Outdoor News joined me on WJON this week. The state of Minnesota is just over 2 weeks away from the fishing opener.
