The year so far has been a deadly one for motorcycle riders in Minnesota. The state Department of Public Safety says 26 motorcyclists have been killed on Minnesota roadways this year. Last year at this time, 18 riders were killed.
As warmer weather brings more motorcyclists out on Minnesota roads, Minneapolis police are urging all motorists to work together to prevent accidents. Police say the chance of a motorcyclist being killed in an accident is seven times greater than for all other vehicles.
