A 66-year-old Montevideo man has died in a personal watercraft accident on Norway Lake in west-central Minnesota.

A 50-year-old man is dead after getting caught in a piece of machinery at a waste facility in Alexandria. According to a news release from the local police department, it happened at about 9 p.m. Thursday at Pope/Douglas Solid Waste, which handles waste for Pope and Douglas counties.

A 48-year-old Fridley man died this morning (Thursday) during a three vehicle crash just before 10:00 a.m. in Big Lake Township.

Police say a Crosslake woman has died after she tried to stop a rolling pickup truck that her 2-year-old nephew was in. Police Chief Bob Hartman says the 32-year-old was killed Thursday. The toddler wasn't hurt.
