I talked with Denny Smith today on WJON about the upcoming Diversity seminar at the St. Cloud Public Library tonight from 7:00 - 8:30pm. The seminar is called "Embracing Diversity: Making St. Cloud Safe and Welcoming for All People".

Tune in at 8:10 Thursday morning when Jay Caldwell talks with Leaf's "Night of the Stars" Director Denny Smith and performers Kyle Smith and Abby Neville. The shows take place February 22-23.

Dr. Keith Kantor will appear on WJON at 8:15am Monday with Jay Caldwell. He'll talk about how Obamacare will affect Minnesotans or other Americans.

A local activist for same-sex marriage is hosting what he calls a "Marriage Equality Seminar for Conservatives". Denny Smith of St. Cloud has formed the organization "Winning Marriage Equality". The seminar is tonight (Wednesday) from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at the St. Cloud Pubic Library.

There's going to a lot of talk about gay marriage in Minnesota, if the State Legislature votes to put the question on the ballot in November of 2012. Two men who will be leading that discussion in the St. Cloud area have very opposing views on the issue.
