The State Patrol is reporting there were over 440 crashes statewide on Saturday. The heaviest snow fell just to the north of St. Cloud, there was a narrow band from St. Cloud to Hinckley that got dumped on with 10-11 inches of snow.
Our snow yesterday (Sunday) afternoon caused area roads to become very slick. The State Patrol reports over 80 crashes in the St. Cloud area yesterday.
Our most recent snowstorm kept troopers with the Minnesota State Patrol very busy. From 7:00 a.m. Monday through 7:00 a.m. today (Tuesday) there were 196 crashes reported on Central Minnesota highways.
