UNDATED - There are 10 bridges in the tri-county area that are structurally deficient, according to a new report released by U.S. Senator Al Franken.

The report says there are three unsafe bridges in Benton County, with an average daily traffic of 93 vehicles on those bridges.  There are three structurally deficient bridges in Stearns County, with 866 vehicles crossing those bridges daily.  And Sherburne County has four unsafe bridges, that have an average daily traffic of over 26,000.

Franken's report says there are more than 1,000 bridges in the state in need of repair or replacement.  He says the U.S. government should invest money into these projects as a way to get people back to work.
