Fundraiser to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

WHAT: Pantown Brewery is holding a beer-anthropy evening, benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The fundraiser is in honor of the Rohde family of St. Cloud and their son, Connor, who passed away in 2016 at the age of seven. On Thursday, August 26, 25% of all sales at Pantown Brewery and 100% of tips will be donated to Team Connor’s Cure, benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Volunteer beer tenders will share information about Connor, ending childhood cancer, and inviting attendees to participate in the St. Jude Walk/Run, taking place on September 25, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

WHY: The Rohde family’s St. Jude journey began in 2010, when their son, Connor, was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain tumor. Connor underwent treatment locally and when his cancer returned, they turned to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Sadly, Connor’s tumor didn’t respond to treatment, and he passed away in August of 2016. Adam and Kristin, along with Connor’s brother, Aiden, have kept the memory of Connor alive in so many ways, including Team Connor’s Cure. To date, Team Connor’s Cure has raised over $32,000!

Team Connor’s Cure has been fundraising to help St. Jude support families who are fighting to keep their child alive.
