Free Moonlight Ski Event at Quarry Park
January 3, 2020, 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Cross-country ski by moonlight and enjoy other activities during the Moonlight Ski annual event held at Stearns County’s Quarry Park, in Waite Park. The Nordic Ski Club of Central Minnesota and the Stearns County Park Department are sponsoring the activities which include:
2 miles of lighted groomed ski trail
Door prizes
Bonfire with smores
FREE food and drink
FREE parking at Quarry Park
FREE ski rental
Heated indoor gathering area
Skiers of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in this family activity. Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center will have a limited number of cross-country skis available at the event. Revolution Cycle and Ski and Fitzharris Ski, Bike and Outdoor will also have free ski rental for the evening. Skis must be reserved in advance and in person at the ski shops.
