Food Donations Distribution in Foley

CARE-Community Action Respecting Elders from Foley will be distributing an additional donation of potatoes, apples, cabbage and onions from Svihel Vegetable Farm on MONDAY, JUNE 1^st, 2020 from 11:00-1:00 or until the produce is gone at the CARE office 321 6^th Ave in Foley.  This produce will be given to anyone in our community free of charge.  There are no income guidelines but you must be willing to give the number of people in your family and their ages.  To establish social distancing we need you to remain in your vehicle and produce will be brought to you.  Please wait in line and follow the signs and direction of the CARE staff.  If you are in need of food or you know someone that needs food, please come and enjoy the fresh produce being offered.  If there is an item that you do not like, please pass the item on to someone else.

CARE is graciously accepting donations to the program at this time.

Thank you to the Svihel Vegetable Farm for this donation, to the Duelm Lion’s Club for their assistance with sorting and distribution, to Benton County for the use of their garage, to the City of Foley for the use of their trailer and to the many CARE volunteers that work together to make this distribution possible.  “Working together is what CARE is all about”.
