The Christmas CARE DRIVE committee is dedicated to making the holidays merrier for local families in need and for seniors in our community. We do different fundraising activities throughout the year with the largest being our Annual Christmas CARE DRIVE Auction. Lots of great items are donated by local businesses and community members. All proceeds remain in the community.
For roughly 15 years community members in Farming and the surrounding areas have sponsored the Christmas Care Drive during the holiday season. The events sponsored by the Christmas Care Drive help generate funds to create care baskets to be donated to needy families and seniors while providing holiday cheer for people of all ages.
Last year, because of businesses, organizations and individuals like you, Christmas Care Drive was able to support seniors, families, nursing homes, schools, fire departments and veterans in the central Stearns County Area. With your help this year, we hope to bring joy to over thirty families during the holiday season by providing toys, food and necessities. We also hope to pack and distribute over 600 reusable bags containing food and personal care items to the seniors.
The annual Christmas Care Drive auction will be online this year due to COVID-19. Auction will begin November 21st and closing will start December 5 th at 7pm.
