Benefit Concert For Peter Ostroushko. It is coming up soon--Tuesday, June 18, 7:30 pm, at Charles Fillmore Auditorium, Unity Spiritual Center, Sartell, MN.
Peter--one of Minnesota's finest, a great mandolinist and a musical state treasure (heard on Prairie Home Companion, Ken Burns' National Park Series, etc...) has suffered a debilitating stroke. He has many needs for recovery and care. With this concert, we hope to make a dent in those needs. We have a fine line-up of performers, all donating their time and talents: Prudence Johnson with Dean Magraw, Dennis Warner, Paul Imholte, and Douglas Wood and the WildSpirit Band. The concert hall is also donated, as well as all the technical help and other assistance. Admission is FREE, with donations gratefully accepted.
