According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Minnesota Timberwolves are progressing towards an Anthony Bennett buyout.

Flip Saunders announced a few weeks ago that he had a Hodgkin's Lymphoma, which is a form of cancer. Flip originally stated that the cancer was "treatable and curable" and that he would continue to serve as both head coach and as the president of basketball operations. We are unsure how long Mitchell will be the interim head coach, but expect him to be interim at least for a couple of months.
