ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- A unique project to help raise awareness of sexual assault will be on display this week. The VA Health Care System in St. Cloud is hosting its Clothesline Project on Thursday and Friday in the VA Auditorium.

The project is a visual display of t-shirts Veterans and former service members have decorated to reflect their experience of sexual trauma, and recovery, and break the silence around their experiences.

The Clothesline Project coincides with Sexual Awareness and Prevention Month and was started in 1990 in Cape Cod. Exhibit hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and it is free and open to the public.
