We're getting our first look at some of the improvements that could be made to St. Cloud's neighborhood parks with the money from the sale of some land in Heritage Park. The Park and Rec Advisory Board will be making a presentation to the city council on Monday.

A longtime St. Cloud lumber business is planning an expansion project. Simonson Lumber got approval from the St. Cloud City Council on Monday night to rezone two lots between County Road 74 and Highway 15. The rezoning was necessary to allow a retail showroom and office space.
The city will receive just over $3.5 million for the sale of the land. The money from the land sale is being used to buy an additional 49 acres at George Friedrich Park and Talahi Woods, both in southeast St. Cloud.

A plan to expand the Anna Marie's Alliance building has been given the approval by the St. Cloud City Council. The council needed to vote to rezone the property in that area in order for the project to move forward.
St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis is asking the St. Cloud Area School District to donate the current Technical High School, and the land, to the city. During Monday night's city council meeting Kleis and Superintendent Willie Jett gave an initial presentation about the plan.
