The St. Cloud city council will determine the process for filling a vacant seat on the council during their meeting on Monday night. Nancy Gohman resigned from the council on May 26th, after winning a close election back in November.

For the second time in seven months St. Cloud city councilwoman Nancy Gohman has resigned from her position. Gohman sent a resignation letter to the city today (Tuesday) saying that she was stepping down as the representative of Ward 2 effective immediately for personal reasons.

A tight race for one St. Cloud city council seat is headed for a recount. City Clerk Gregg Engdahl says they'll recount the ballots in Ward 2 this Friday.

St. Cloud city councilwoman Nancy Gohman resigned from the council last (Monday) night. Council President Jeff Goerger says she emailed her letter of resignation to him and Mayor Dave Kleis before the meeting.
