Cybersecurity is a growing concern for Central Minnesota businesses. That's according to the latest Quarterly Business Report from St. Cloud State University. Economics Professor King Banaian says 85 percent of the respondents say cybersecurity will become more important over the next five years.
St. Cloud State University has earned a $2.78 million scholarship award to train government cybersecurity professionals. The Scholarship for Service is from the National Science Foundation and the Department of Homeland Security.
Congresswoman Michele Bachmann hosted a cybersecurity seminar at the Stearns County History Museum. Three FBI agents from the Minneapolis Field Office joined the Congresswoman in discussing the issue.
