Two Men Arrested On Assault Charges

Two men are jailed after a fight led to more serious assault charges. St. Cloud Police responded to an assault complaint along Northway Drive just before 3:00 a.m. Sunday. It turns out a fight escalated to assault with a motor vehicle and a stabbing.

Todd County authorities allege that 42-year-old Robert John Wilder of Swanville forced his way into the woman's home on Oct. 30 and cut her face with a knife. The charges allege Wilder also stole cash, tied the woman up and sexually assaulted her before fleeing.
