DULUTH -- A 23-year-old St. Cloud man was sentenced to four years and nine months in prison for robbing a TCF Bank last May.

Salamo Rakotojoelinandrasana earlier pleaded guilty to walking into the St. Cloud TCF Bank, showing a gun and demanding money. He took a bag of cash containing more than $6,000 and a concealed dye pack and fled.

About a week later, authorities spotted Rakotojoelinandrasana inserting dye-stained money into a slot machine at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake. He was arrested and a search warrant was then used at his home and for his car.

Police found more dye-stained money, an air pistol and clothing matching the description of the bank robber.
