Little Falls Man Pleads Guilty to Social Security Theft

MINNEAPOLIS - A 65-year-old Little Falls man has pleaded guilty to stealing nearly $48,000 from the Social Security Administration.

Bruce Holman acknowledged in Federal Court that he has received Social Security Disability Insurance payments since 1992.  Since that time he was aware that he was suppose to notify Social Security if he went to prison for a felony conviction.  He was in prison from June of 2007 until March of 2011, but never notified Social Security, so he continued to receive his checks during that time.

Holman has not been sentenced yet, but he is facing a possible ten years in federal prison, as well as possible fines.
