St. Augusta Victim Shot — Two Suspects In Custody

ST. AUGUSTA -- The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says a 33-year-old man has been taken to the St. Cloud Hospital with gunshot wounds.

Sheriff John Sanner says the victim was shot at a residence sometime before Noon today (Wednesday) in St. Augusta. Deputies believe the suspects were trying to rob the victim when shots were fired.

The two male suspects left the scene in a vehicle. Deputies later stopped a vehicle in St. Joseph Township with two people matching the description of the suspects.

Sanner says the two suspects have been taken into custody for questioning. The victim's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
