St. Augusta wants to replace a key piece of firefighting equipment, but the city will now have to find other ways to pay for it after they were turned down for a FEMA firefighting grant. Mayor Bob Kroll says it won't stop them from finding a way to get the pumper truck.
A St. Augusta business is building a new, larger facility with the hopes to move in by the start of the new year. B&F Fastener Supply is in the process of building a 20,000 square foot facility about a block away from it's current location, on 67th Avenue South in St. Augusta.
Two St. Augusta businesses who failed liquor license compliance checks in recent months went before the city to learn their fate. St. Augusta Mini-Serv and St. Augusta Legion were caught in the stings in January 2017.
