SCSU Football Closes Season With Tight Win at Moorhead

The St. Cloud State football team won 39-37 at Minnesota State-Moorhead Saturday afternoon.  The field with wet and soggy but SCSU led 19-15 at halftime and didn't trail in the 2nd half.  Phil Klaphake ran for 165 yards and 2 touchdowns and threw for 221 yards and 2 touchdowns for SCSU.  Michael Walker ran for 84 yards and 1 touchdown for the Huskies.

Eli Shoemaker had another big day receiving with 4 catches for 146 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Huskies.  SCSU out-gained MSU-Moorhead 518 to 281.  The Huskies close the season with a 7-4 record.
