SARTELL - The Sartell-St. Stephen school district is working with over 80 community members on Wednesday night to create a long term vision for its facilities.

In January, the Sartell-St. Stephen district moved forward with the Cunningham Group to come up with a long-term facility plan to accommodate continued growth and space concerns in the district.

The goal of the meeting on Wednesday night will be to create a shared long-term vision for the facilities. The meeting will start with small groups collaborating to share their thoughts back to the larger group. School board chair Krista Durrwachter says community feedback is crucial for the process.

The committee will be responsible for coming up with priorities and needs for district schools and facilities.

Workshops will take place with the community planning committee through the year. The committee is likely to present their recommendations to the school board in September.
