COLD SPRING- Grab your hat and mittens church will be a bit chilly tonight.

The 9th annual Christmas in the Barn service led by Peace Lutheran Church in Cold Spring had a great turn out for the first night of the two night event.

Over 400 people gathered in the barn and sipped hot apple cider to stay warm. Church member and barn owner Amy Leither says "part of what we want to do is bring people together in a really simple place, in a really simple way and just hear the story, sing some songs and just have some time together."

If you missed tonight's (Wednesday) Christmas in the Barn you can still go to the same service tomorrow (Christmas Eve) at 7:00 p.m.

Christmas in the Barn is located at 26258 County Road 2.
