ST. CLOUD -  One person was hurt and taken to the emergency room after being shot outside the Press Bar in downtown St. Cloud on Saturday morning.

Officers responded to the call at about 12:30 a.m. and found a 31-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say the victim was an employee of the Press Bar and told two women to leave the bar because they were underage. He later saw one of the woman walking toward the door with the suspect and followed them out. Once outside, a verbal argument started, with the woman and suspect both spitting on the victim before he was shot multiple times.

The victim was taken to the St. Cloud Emergency room and remains in the hospital at this time.

Police arrested the suspect in relation to the incident and is currently working to locate additional witnesses and evidence.

Police say the suspect has identified himself as 24-year-old Courtney Terell Holmes from Mississippi. However, investigators believe the suspect isn't providing his correct identity and are currently working with state agencies for information.

As of Sunday afternoon, the suspects true identity hasn't been confirmed.
