Meth Bust in Cold Spring Jails Two, Kids in Protective Custody
COLD SPRING -- A Cold Spring couple is jailed and three children are in protective custody after a methamphetamine bust early this morning.
Members of the Central Minnesota Violent Offender's Task Force used a search warrant to raid a home at 14905 Fiesta Lane in Wakefield Township at about 5:00 a.m.
Officers say they found approximately two pounds of suspected methamphetamine, $4,600 in cash and a handgun. The drugs have an estimated street value of about $60-thousand.
36-year-old Tomas Hermosillo and 34-year-old Angelina Ramirez were jailed on possible first degree drug charges.
