ST. CLOUD -- Three central Minnesota parks and trails projects are getting money from the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment.

The latest disbursements will give $500,000 each to the Rocori Trail development, land acquisition for Sartell's Sauk River Park and final amenities at Rockville County Park and Nature Preserve.

Stearns County Parks Director Chuck Wocken says some projects didn't get funding...like Waite Park's request to extend the Lake Wobegon Trail and St. Cloud's application to complete the Beaver Island Trail.

There was more than $7-million available in outstate grants this year...nearly double the $4.2-million that earmarked last year.
