Grand Opening Ceremony Today for Rockville County Park & Nature Preserve

ROCKVILLE - A Grand Opening celebration is being held today (Tuesday) for the new Rockville County Park & Nature Preserve.

The event begins at 5:00 p.m. at the main parking area at the junction of the Sauk River Road and Glacier Road.

After the ceremony you can hike with naturalists, ride your horse through the park, go geocaching, or fish.

The newest park in the Stearns County Park system was established in 2007.  Combined with Rockville's Eagle Park, it sits along 2.8 miles of the Sauk River.
