Excessive Heat Warning Extended Through Thursday

UNDATED - The Excessive Heat Warning will now be in effect until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Highs will range from 95 to 100, and dew points will be in the lower 70s.  This will result in afternoon heat index values ranging from 100 to 110 through Thursday.

The hot and humid conditions will lead to a heightened risk of heat related stress and illness.  If you must be outside, be sure to drink lots of water.
