New Owners Take Over Sauk Rapids Herald

The Sauk Rapids Herald has a new owner. Star Publication took over the paper on Wednesday. They also own the papers in Albany, Melrose, and Sauk Centre. Co-owner and General Manager Mark Klaphake says the paper is a good fit for them.

Area College Students Set to Graduate this Weekend

The College of Saint Benedict, St. Cloud State University and Saint John's University are all hosting spring commencement ceremonies this weekend. More than 1,180 St. Cloud State students expected to participate in commencement ceremonies at 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The 100th annual commencement ceremony at the College of Saint Benedict is at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the Clemens Field House.

The Stearns County Parks Department is reminding you of a major restoration project being done to the Lake Wobegon Trail. Starting Monday (May 11th) parts of the trail between Albany and Freeport, Albany and Holdingford and to the Morrison County line will take place.

Minor Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 10 in Sauk Rapids

Four vehicles were involved in a crash on Highway 10 in Benton County. The State Patrol says the incident happened at about 8:00 p.m. last (Thursday) night at County Road 46. Two vehicles going opposite directions sideswiped each other, two other vehicles were also unable to avoid the crash.
